The foundations for Freedom Fellowship began in 2008. A prayer team was assembled to pray for direction and guidance.
Freedom Fellowship started monthly services in August 2008 at the Knights of Columbus in Cedarburg. Our early services included much of what you see at Freedom Fellowship today… worship, Bible-based teaching and plenty of food and fellowship!
In February 2009 we moved to Jackson Elementary School to start weekly services. In May 2011 we moved to our permanent location in Jackson. We have grown fast and God has provided what we need to expand!
People from all walks of life attend Freedom Fellowship. You will find people from all age groups, incomes and backgrounds at Freedom Fellowship. Our church body is made up of people from Jackson, Slinger, Hartford, Mequon, Cedarburg, Grafton and other cities in Washington and Ozaukee counties.
About Pastor Brent and Sarah Weide
Pastor Brent Weide, the Senior Pastor of Freedom Fellowship, feels very privileged to serve to the people of Southeastern Wisconsin. He has a strong passion to see the people in his community experience God’s love and forgiveness.
Pastor Brent was born and raised on a farm in Oconomowoc. Since he was 8 years old, he felt a strong calling to be a pastor. That dream and desire started to unfold as he went to New Tribes Bible Institute. He served on staff at another local church in Southeastern Wisconsin for 8 years before the Lord called him to start Freedom Fellowship.
Brent married his wife Sarah in 2000. They have two children, Ashlyn and Caleb. In his free time, Brent can be found “rough housing” with his kids, tending to his chickens, Muskie fishing in the U.P or deer hunting.
